Flying Frogs

The picture window in the living room is 2 stories above the ground in the backyard outside.

Tenacious frogs climb way up to the top.
This one was stuck on the window, but when I went to get a closer look, he jumped onto the Honeysuckle vine.
This one stayed on the window.

They climb up here, I think, because this is where the good bugs are.  One night, Jake noticed a faint flashing light on the window.  It was a lightning bug!

Inside a frogs mouth!

The frog had gotten to the top of the window, found a lightning bug, ate his dinner, and we could still see the bug flashing in his mouth!

"Gosh that's a long drop down..."

"What is the heck is that frog doing up here?"

Easily Amused,

Liz

  1. We have a little frog the lives in our rain gutter drain just outside the apartment. Lilly and I check on him every morning when we go out for a walk.
